Akasha means space, a container without objects. Yet within the potential of space resides all manifestation. Space concentrates itself in infinite ways to fulfill the desires of life itself, endlessly birthed by Mother Divine.
The akashic records as they are known, the knowledge embedded in space itself, resides in the cosmic continuum. By becoming established in such a state of Being, residing in the foundations of life, the record of anything that has ever happened, or will happen, gradually becomes available, like the moon rising and illuminating the landscape.
Akasha is never far away, though it does take sadhana (purification through spiritual means) and desire in order to see it, a journey through all of our attachments, freeing each one in turn until the pure carrier wave of all knowledge is visible.
Our nervous system and its crown become more and more sensitive to the ever deeper and broader reality around us. As our cosmic alignment becomes more and more complete, so too our view of the akashic record.
We find this by taking our mind established in Being, eliminating the static caused by the heart’s impatience and attachment, and becoming aware of a silent palpable presence, akasha, pervading everything.
As we grow more silent ourselves, we delve deeper into this cosmic river and in doing so, we become it, transcending both time and space. Once time and space are transcended, we can reach in any direction for answers to any questions that may arise.
Like any divine gift that we come upon, such a discovery transforms us too – a parallel change occurs. This then drives our further desire in that direction, all in service to the divine, in service to Totality and completion.
So our place by the stream of akashic records is never used frivolously or selfishly, and instead as an expected way-point, a fresh vista to draw us ever forward on our endless journey through Brahman, through Totality.
Until now, these abilities such as omniscience have been seen as extraordinary and mystical. But they are neither, simply a clearer view of this world, and necessities available to all.
